post-secondary education, an RESP is a great tool to protect your child’s ability to attend a program of their choice when they graduate from high school.
An RESP is a government-registered plan in which your money can grow on a
tax-deferred basis. Furthermore, you may be eligible for additional
government grants:
- The Canadian Education Savings Grant for up to $7,200 per beneficiary;
- The Canada Learning Bond for up to $2,000 per beneficiary.
